About 20 years ago I (Oscar Rios) started playing Call of Cthulhu by answering an ad asking for players on the bulletin board at The Compleat Strategist. The Keeper was named Kent Bench, who was an artist (if anyone knows who or where he is, please ask him to get in touch with me).
Today, a Call of Cthulhu RPG book produced by my company is on sale in this store. How's that for full circle?
