Yesterday we held an official company play – test of Mark Shireman's scenario for Island of Ignorance – The Third Cthulhu Companion, Let The Children Come to Me. This was a complex scenario dealing with some adult themes which presented a new type of horror to the investigators. The players were shaken by the material which only drove their investigators harder to resolve the tragic situation before them. This scenario won't be for every group but we feel it is a story that needs to be told, to be discussed more often because the horror it deals with happens all too often within our daily lives. I'd like to thank the play testers for taking part in this important gaming session and treating the delicate material with maturity, respect and an open mind to what both the Author and Golden Goblin Press were trying to accomplish through it.
